This is the first in a small series about a topic that hits close to home for me: moral injury. The events that led to my retirement from forensics were a series of cascading moral injuries, though at the time, I didn't realize that was what was happening. It has taken me over two years to face my battle, and I've reached a place where I can write my perspective and thoughts here.
